The Andhra Pradesh Government is finalising the modalities for crop loan reschedule.
A review meeting was held here today with Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, Finance Minister, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Agriculture Minister, P Pulla Rao, and Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Kutumba Rao, on the modalities for reschedule.
The RBI had given in-principle nod for reschedule seeking details from the State on beneficiaries.
The State has written to the RBI on various issues relating to crops and also seeking coverage of rabi crop season last year and extension of period of moratorium from three years to seven years.
A decision is likely to be announced in the next State Cabinet meet later this week.
