The Andhra Pradesh Government is mulling spot approvals and exemption for certain categories of industries, according to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
While addressing a roundtable of investors at the Investor Congress 2015 in Mumbai on Monday, the Chief Minister said the State had sector-specific policies for customised impetus to the thrust sectors.
“Industrial policy, public private partnership policy, sector-specific policies such as textile and private universities bill are on the anvil,” the Chief Minister said a grievance redress mechanism for the industrial applicants was also proposed.
The State had a ‘transparent’ policy of land allotment with a land bank of one million acres.
That apart, the State also offers to develop industrial parks on PPP basis, development of private industrial parks and townships, according to a release.
