Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday sought additional three-week extension from the President Pranab Mukherjee to discuss and return the Telangana Bill.
In a letter written to the President, the Chief Minister wanted additional time beyond the January 30 deadline, as the Bill could not be discussed in full by the members of the House.
This letter comes within weeks of his earlier one to the President, wherein he had sought four week’s extension to discuss the Bill in detail.
However, the President granted only one week extension and wanted the Bill to be returned expeditiously.
