Andhra Pradesh has been ranked sixth among amongst 35 states and Union Territories with in the financial inclusion in the Crisils’s Inclusix index.
According to a release, it had a score of 61.3 which was well above all-India score of 40.1. The four districts of State were in the top 50 districts in the country as score. These were Hyderabad (rank: 12), Krishna (25), Nellore (46) and Guntur (49).
The State’s score improved by 8.4 during the 2009-2011 period, much more than the all-India improvement of 4.7, it added.
