The Andhra Pradesh Government will soon set up an e-Governance Society with a mandate to monitor the online delivery of citizen services. It will be headed by a Chief Executive Officer and a Chief Technology Officer, a Government official said here.
The Government will bring in the legislation ‘Right to Good Governance Act’. “The Chief Minister has asked the Information Technology Department to prepare a draft in this regard. If enacted, it will be a first of its kind in the country,” he said.
