Known for experimenting with new concepts in leadership, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s government plans to work with Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev of the Isha Foundation and the Indian School of Business for the effective implementation of the State’s programmes.

According to the State Government, this investment in human resources has not only added a new dimension to leadership but also aims to focus on yoga, meditation, capacity-building and the ability to question existing processes and systems.

Later today, the closing day of the three-day workshop on ‘Inner Engineering – for joyful living’ by Sadguru, professors from ISB too will be part of the programme.

The Chief Minister, cabinet ministers, government officials, Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev and ISB faculty members will meet after the workshop to strategise on how to take the Government’s programmes closer to the people.

Again on February 18, a workshop of Government officials will be held with ISB faculty.

The Government says that such workshops will become part of the Government’s efforts in making systems efficient, accessible and responsive.

The Chief Minister believes that such an exercise will provide clarity of thought to officials and help them strike a work-life balance.

Sadguru has agreed to work with AP to increase the green cover in the State.
