The Food Safety Commissioner in Arunachal Pradesh has directed all distributors, wholesellers and retailers of nine Maggi variants in the State to recall them with immediate effect.
The commissioner in an order today advised the consumers not to consume the said Maggi Noodles (9 variants) till further communication from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
The order was issued after the FSSAI had yesterday directed Nestle India Ltd, manufacturer of Maggi instant noodles with tastemaker, to recall all 9 variants of noodles with immediate effect, an official comminique said here today.
