Normal life in the State capital and other districts of Telangana has been hit due to a bandh call given by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
The bandh call was given in protest against the inconclusive end of all-party meet held in Delhi on the demand for a separate Telangana State yesterday.
Schools, educational institutions shops and other business establishments remained closed. Banks and petrol pumps, however, are functioning.
As a precautionary measure, the State Road Transport Corporation had withdrawn many services including the city buses.
