The premier nanoscience and nanotechnology event held in Bangalore annually has been rechristened as ‘Bangalore India Nano’.
The sixth edition of Bangalore India Nano will be held from December 4 to 6, 2013 at Hotel The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore.
I.S.N. Prasad, IAS, Karnataka Principal Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, said: “The nanotechnology event has assumed a larger role for the industry and gained significance importance globally. Hence, we are proud to rechristen the event as Bangalore India Nano.’’
Prof. C.N.R. Rao, Head, Karnataka Vision Group on Nanotechnology, said there has been a surge in the number of participants not only from India but also from international community, reflecting the popularity of the event across industry leaders, international trade delegations, R&D fraternity and academia.
