Swami Vivekanand Institute of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Spine Hospital announced on Friday the “Bhopal Run For Epilepsy” as a part of its awareness campaign against the health disorder.
The race will be held on Sunday, in affiliation with MP Athletics Association, institute’s director Dr Gouri Pandit told reporters.
“We want to promote good health in Madhya Pradesh and to start with, spread awareness about epilepsy — a misconstrued disorder,” Pandit said.
“As one of the hospitals promoting affordable neuro healthcare to the society, we believe that the ‘Bhopal Run for Epilepsy’ can make an even more positive contribution to the society, as awareness is the first step towards adopting a solution,” the director said.
