Café Coffee Day has launched ‘Coffee Festival’, a consumer-connect initiative, in the capital city. The aim is to share the art of coffee making with consumers, a company spokesman said. Merlin Raj, coffee evangelist at Café Coffee Day, kicked off the event here on Thursday.
The outlets at Nikkie’s restaurant and BPCL petrol bunk at Thonnakkal will be the venues for a month till September 28.
Consumers can walk in and learn how to make a cuppa using simple tools like the ‘French Press’ and ‘Stovetop Espresso.’
The ‘Coffee Day WakeCup’, a coffee-brewing system using capsule technology, produces a cup in just 30 seconds.
