The Supreme Court said today that the CBI probe against Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh in disproportionate assets case will continue.
The apex court has dropped the probe against Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple in the disproportionate assets case.
It has directed the probe agency to file the status report in the case before it and not to the Government.
CBI is independent from the Government and can continue with the probe as per the law, the apex court added.
