The Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday raided three offices of the Saradha group in connection with the multi-crore Saradha scam.
Raids and searches were carried out at the Saradha offices in different locations such as Salt Lake, Behala and Bishnupur.
On Friday, the CBI is expected to question the State Transport Minister Madan Mitra and Trinamool Congress MP Srinjoy Bose. Bose has already been interrogated by the CBI once.
According to a CBI spokesperson, searches were carried out at three of the offices of the Saradha construction company and “incriminating documents have been seized”.
So far, the CBI has filed two charge-sheets with regard to the Saradha scam
