CERA, a premium home solutions brand that markets sanitary ware, faucets and tiles, has opened a Style Studio in Chennai.
This is the ninth CERA style studio in India.
The 6,500 sq ft display studio at an investment of ₹7 crore, is meant to give customers a touch-and-feel experience. The studio was inaugurated by Vikram Somany, Chairman and Managing Director of CERA Sanitaryware Limited.
PK Shashidharan, Senior Vice-President (Marketing), said customers can get the feel of entire range of products.
Atul Sanghvi, Executive Director, CERA, said Chennai has a good potential for the growth of the industry which is one of the reasons for opening the display centre. He said even as the company is expanding its network there is also growing preference among consumers towards CERA.
Though there are no statistics with regards to the increase in revenue due to display centres, Sanghvi said almost 95 per cent of the customers converted to CERA after visiting the store.
“Most of them are more comfortable in getting the first look at the company showroom rather directly going through dealer,” he said. This in addition to giving confidence to consumers and builders, has contributed to overall sales, he added.
The eight style studios are present in Bengaluru, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh and Kolkata. The tenth showroom will be opened in Thiruvananthapuram next month.
