Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will be on a three-day tour from January 20 to 23 to Davos to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual summit.
The Chief Minister has been taking part in the forum over the years. During his earlier term as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, he had networked with foreign delegates and participants highlighting his vision for the State. He also moderated sessions at the WEF.
This time, as the Chief Minister of new State of Andhra Pradesh, he has been chosen as a special invitee for the summit by WEF President Klaus Schwab.
For a WEF event on the “Future of Urban Development”, the Chief Minister has been invited as special guest and will be attending the session along with ministers of other countries and CEOs.
During the event, he will take part in a meeting hosted by the Japanese delegation as a special guest for a session on “Vision for Tomorrow, Japan: Learning for Structural Challenges,” and be part of the “Japan Night” session.
Apart from being part of bilateral meetings with industrialists, businessmen and experts from various fields, the Government of Andhra Pradesh also has an “AP Investment Session” which will be addressed by the Chief Minister.
The AP delegation to Davos includes Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu among others.
