Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Raman Singh has invited Tata Motors Vice-Chairman (non-executive) Ravi Kant to explore investment possibilities in the State.
“Yes we have made a special request to Tata Motors to come, see and explore opportunities for investment that lies in the State (of Chhattisgarh),’’ Singh said on the sidelines of the PanIIT conference — a global conference of IIT alumni.
To a further question whether he wanted Tata Motors to invest in the automobile sector, he replied in the affirmative.
“Of course, i have asked them (Tata Motors) to come and see what they can do in the State,’’ he added.
