National Museum of India Director V Venu on Friday launched a project to preserve the paintings and drawings of the child prodigy Edmund Thomas Clint.
The project called ‘Clint Memorabilia’ has been envisaged by digital content developer Invis Multimedia to archive the child genius who died three decades ago.
Clint had lived only for 2,522 days, but had created around 25,000 pictures with pencil, crayons, ball pens and water colour. He had started drawing pictures at an early age. He was afflicted with a deadly disease at the age of three and died one month before his seventh birthday.
‘Clint Memorabilia’ is a social venture aimed at igniting children’s creativity and helping them think differently. An online fund-raising drive will be launched to meet the cost.
