Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was summoned as an accused in a criminal defamation complaint filed by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri, was granted bail by a Metropolitan Magistrate court here on Friday.
Bidhuri had alleged that Kejriwal had defamed him during an interview to a news channel, falsely claiming that he had had criminal cases pending against him. The court has now fixed the matter for further hearing on August 6.
