Even as Narendra Modi is facing an unprecedented infighting in the party, the Vadodara district authorities on Thursday announced to convert the district disaster and flood control room into the election process control room in the Lok Sabha constituency from where the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate is seeking election.
In a statement here, District Returning Officer Dr Vinod Rao said the centre will be situated in the collectorate premises until completion of electoral process.
The step was taken after the Election Commission’s directive to set up election control and communication room, he added.
