The Chief Minister N Rangasamy today said the government will distribute two kilograms of sugar free of cost to ration card holders as Diwali gift.

All the families covered under the red colour and yellow colour ration cards in the Union Territory (UT) would get the free sugar, he said here.

Sugar would be available to the card holders from next week through ration shops, he said.
