A local resident was booked on Sunday after his dog allegedly bit a woman here who hails from Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The pet dog owned by Digvijay Singh Chauhan, allegedly bit Kala Devi, a native of Madhya Pradesh and presently residing in the adjoining Rampura village, in her foot in the Company Bagh colony here this morning, they said.
While the Model Town police here have registered a case of negligent conduct with respect to the pet dog against its owner on a complaint filed by the woman, who was presently getting treatment in the local civil hospital.
Police said the incident took place when Kala Devi was passing through the Company Bagh colony in the morning.
