The Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test-based counselling for admission into engineering colleges in the present academic year commenced in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.
Apart from Hyderabad, counselling and verification of certificates is on in 34 centres in Andhra Pradesh for candidates with rank up to 5,000, according officials of department of technical education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The verification of certificates in Telangana is expected to commence from August 9 and a final decision will be taken by the State Government on Friday.
