The Enforcement Directorate has attached assets worth ₹47 crore in connection with the illegal assets case of YSR Congress Party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
According to a release, assets of Reddy’s firms, Jagati Publications, Janani and Indira Television, have been attached. They included ₹16.55 crore assets belonging to Janani Infra, ₹25 crore properties of Indira Television and ₹5.60 crore worth machinery of Jagathi Publications, among others. Reddy has been charged by the CBI earlier for illegally receiving ₹63 crore from Penna Cements in a quid pro quo deal.
