Essar Oil Ltd, a subsidiary of Essar Energy Plc, on Monday inaugurated its exploration and production office at Durgapur in West Bengal.
The E&P office was set up at the Webel IT Park for taking care of its coal-bed methane operations.
The office was inaugurated by State Commerce and Industries Minister Partha Chatterjee. The workplace infrastructure will be used by the company to run its CBM operations in the gas fields in the Raiganj block of the district.
