Eveready Industries launched its portable lighting solutions in the Kerala market on Wednesday.
The first set of rechargeable products with LED technology included fans, table lamps, wall mounted lamps etc.
Partha Biswas, vice-president (sales), said that while the rechargeable fans can provide breeze up to 2.5 hours; the lamps provide bright, white, light up to 20 hours with minimum charging time.
Eveready is the largest seller of LED products in the country. This enables the company to offer rechargeable solutions with best in class technology, he said.
The company is India’s largest marketer of dry cell batteries selling about 1.2 billion units annually. It is also the largest manufacturer of torches selling more than 20 million pieces a year, he added.
