The Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has welcomed the decisions of the Supreme Court of not interfering in the arrest of five activists in connection with Bhima-Koregaon violence. He said that the stand taken by the Maharashtra Government in the court has been vindicated.
Addressing a hurriedly organised press conference, Fadnavis said the Pune Police, which had made the arrest had managed to place conclusively before the court that the arrest were not made out of any political conspiracy.
