Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) is organising a three-day expo at Male between April 27 and 29.
The exposition, organised with the support of the Commerce Ministry is expected to boost India’s exports to Maldives.
According to FIEO, India’s exports to Maldives grew 17 per cent from $152 million in 2014-15 to $178 million in 2015-16. Exports include agriculture and poultry produce, sugar, fruits, vegetables, spices, rice, textiles, drugs and medicines, a variety of engineering and industrial products, building materials.
