The final award of the Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal is likely to be published in the Gazette by the Union Government in the second week of February, according to Union Minister for Shipping G. K. Vasan.
“The Union Government is likely to publish the final award of the Cauvery River Water Dispute Tribunal in the Gazette by the second week of February,” he told presspersons late last night after attending a function here.
Criticising the Tamil Nadu Government for the 10-hour power shedding in the State, Vasan said the power cut was also hitting people hard besides affecting industry and production and agricultural activities.
