The government has dispatched fuel to Manipur by air and road routes in a bid to ensure a steady supply of basic amenities to locals affected by a prolonged blockade.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan told BusinessLine , “We have dispatched six trucks to Manipur by air in three tranches of two daily from January 22. The Air Force has deployed C17 aircraft for the same.” Pradhan also said 100 trucks carrying petroleum products were also headed for Manipur.
