Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa is recovering well, according to the acting Governor of Tamil Nadu, Ch. Vidyasagar Rao who met her at Apollo Hospitals this evening.
A press release issued by Raj Bhavan said the Governor was happy to note that chief minister was recovering well. He appreciated doctors for providing the best medical care and treatment to her.
The Governor was briefed by Pratap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals, on treatment given to Jayalalithaa.
The Governor was taken to the ward where Jayalalithaa was given treatment, presented her a basket of fruits and wished her a speedy recovery.
He arrived at the hospital where Jayalalithaa is undergoing a treatment since last week at 6.45 pm and left after spending nearly 30 minutes at the hospitals.
