Green Trends, the unisex hair and style salon business of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) conglomerate CavinKare, today launched two salons at Ekkaduthangal and Mahalingapuram in Chennai.
Actress Kushboo inaugurated the salon in Kodambakam, while actress Devayani inaugurated Green Trends’ 124th salon in Ekkaduthangal, the 69th in the franchise format. Both the salons are furnished with modern equipment.
Green Trends is owned by Trends In Vogue, a CavinKare Group company.
In a statement, Gopalakrishnan, Business Head, Trends In Vogue, said: “We are now expanding our network across geographies with a good mix of company owned and franchise-led salons. We added over 54 franchisees within a year of opening the franchisee model, with many eager to sign up for their second salon.’'
CavinKare is a diversified FMCG major, with brands in personal care, dairy, snacks, foods and beverages.
The brand portfolio consists of shampoo brands like Chik, Meera and Nyle, fairness creams like Fairever, deodorant and talc like Spinz and hair colour like Indica.
