Harrisons Malayalam Ltd has received the CII Southern Region Environment, Health and Safety Award for its tea factory in Wentworth, and rubber factories in Kumbazha and Nagamallay, for the year 2014.
Earlier, the company also obtained Ethical Tea Partnership certifications (which is recognised by EU markets), for Lockhart, Pattumalay, Wentworth, Wallardie and Moongalar estates and Rain Forest Alliance certification and Trustea certification for their Wentworth Estate and Pollution Control award for Kumbazha Latex factory.
