GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd has been allotted a new PIN Code – 500108 with the opening of a new Post Office. Serving the larger social cause, a dedicated post office has been opened at Hyderabad Airport, in the interest of passengers, airport community members and people residing in the airport’s vicinity.
SGK Kishore, CEO, GHIAL and Brigadier B. Chandrashekar, Chief Post Master General Telangana Circle, Hyderabad inaugurated the new RGI Airport Post Office in the presence of Manish Sinha, Chief Operating Office, GHIAL among others.
Available at the C-Level, near car park of the airport terminal besides the banks, the Post Office has all key postal services in place. Some of the key services which the post office will provide includes core banking facility, booking of speed post, registered post articles, money orders, acceptance of PLI and RPLI premia, ePayment transactions, My Stamp Service, Saving Bank, Cash certificate, etc.
The Post Office will be catering to the delivery needs of people at large with the help of one Post Master and two delivery agents (Gramin Dak Sevaks).
SGK Kishore, CEO, GHIAL, said, “With this the Airport has a unique PIN Code and this has given us a unique identity. With the presence of all postal services the airport post office will benefit a large section of people including around 15 million passengers who use the airport annually, besides 5,000 plus airport community members and the people residing in airport vicinity.”
