The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) will organise the closing ceremony of its Golden Jubilee celebration on November 14.
Ramchandra Guha, Philippe Roman Chair of International Affairs and History at the London School of Economics and an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, will be the chief guest at the event.
Prof Shekhar Chaudhuri, Director of IIMC, and Ajit Balakrishnan, Chairman, Board of Governors, will be present. The two-year-long golden jubilee celebrations kicked off in 2010.
A documentary film on IIMC directed by Gautam Ghosh will be screened on the occasion. IIMC will also release a commemorative volume on IIMC: Citizens and Revolutionaries - An Oral History of IIM Calcutta ’. An exhibition of IIMC archives will take place on the same day.
