The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a supplementary chargesheet on corporates in the illegal assets case of Kadapa MP and YSR Party chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.
The 26-page chargesheet filed in a local court here on Tuesday charged Aurobindo Pharma, Hetero Drugs and Trident Life Sciences with deviations from the Companies Act and receiving favours illegally in quid pro co basis.
A report from the Registrar of the Companies on these firms was also submitted to the court.
The investigating agency had also submitted to the court that charges would also be filed on Penna Cement, Dalima Cement, India Cements and Bharathi Cements in the case shortly.
The Enforcement Directorate, which is running a parallel probe on the basis chargesheet filed in the case so far, is in the process of attaching assets belonging to Jaganmohan Reddy soon, according to sources.
