INTEC 2017, a five-day industrial trade fair, is scheduled between June 1 and 5 at the Codissia Trade Fair Grounds here.
This would be the 17th edition of the international machine tools and industrial trade fair organised by Codissia INTEC Technology Centre.
Over 500 exhibitors Union Minister for MSME Kalraj Mishra is expected to inaugurate the expo, with KK Jalan, Secretary, MSME, and Ravindra Nath, Chairman and Managing Director, NSIC, as guests of honour.
Over 535 exhibitors, including participants from , Japan, Germany, Italy, the US, Taiwan, China, Singapore and Spain are to showcase their products. J Balu, Chairman of INTEC 2017, said the focus would be on automation and digitisation of the industry.
The organisers have decided to waive the entry fee for business visitors, provided they produce their business cards or industry identity card. Over 50,000 business visitors are expected at this expo.
Business generation The organisers hope to garner business turnover of around ₹600 crore. The earlier edition attracted a turnover of ₹125 crore and generated enquiries to the tune of over ₹375 crore.
A CEO conclave, organised by the organising committee of INTEC 2017 and Texas Ventures, will also be held.
