In an attempt to give a boost to the tourism industry, the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is seeking to work closely with State-level tourism bodies.
ITDC organised a roundtable on Friday, attended by tourism officials from many States, including Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
The meeting, chaired by ITDC Chairperson and Managing Director Ravneet Kaur, discussed areas where ITDC could collaborate with State tourism authorities for the overall development of the sector.
Various business units of ITDC such as Ashok Consultancy and Engineering Services, Sound and Light Show, Ashok Travels & Tours, Ashok Events, Ashok Institute of Hospitality & Tourism Management explained the areas in which State tourisms can collaborate with ITDC.
