Prime Minister Narendra Modi will campaign for BJP in second phase of assembly elections in Udhampur and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir on November 28.
“The Prime Minister will campaign for the candidates in the second phase of elections on November 28,” Jammu and Kashmir BJP spokesman Farooq Khan said.
Khan said that Modi will address rallies in Udhampur district and border district of Poonch at 12 pm and 2:30 pm on Friday.
People in these districts are eager to be addressed by the Prime Minister at public rallies and will come in large numbers, he claimed.
Asserting that Modi is a “big factor” in these elections, Khan said BJP will accomplish its Mission 44+ and form the government in the state.
Udhampur and Poonch assembly segments will go to polls along with Gulabgarh, Reasi, Gool Arnas, Chenani, Ramnagar, Surankote, Mendhar in Jammu region and Karnah, Kupwara, Lolab, Handwara, Langate, Noorabad, Kulgam, Home—Shalibugh and Devsar in Kashmir Valley on December 2.
BJP is contesting all the 87 assembly seats in the state without forging alliances with any political party.
