The Minister for Economic Trade and Industry, Japan, has evinced interest in Andhra Pradesh’s proposed capital city project and transportation segment.
After the launch of the Andhra Pradesh government’s Industry Mission in Visakhapatnam, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu headed to New Delhi for a bilateral meeting with Yoichi Miyazawa, Minister for Economic Trade and Industry, Japan.
During the meeting, Miyazawa informed the Chief Minister that the Japanese ministry had conducted a preliminary study on Andhra Pradesh and identified certain areas of collaboration in the State.
Some of the key areas which have been identified for attracting investments from Japanese companies are the capital city project, support for transportation in capital City and financing support for the project.
Miyazawa invited the Chief Minister to visit Japan for further review and discussion on the potential areas of collaboration between Andhra Pradesh and Japan.
