A 25-member delegation of Japanese companies comprising Presidents and Chief Executive Officers from over 20 companies and organisations visited Sri City to explore investment opportunities.
The delegation was led by T. Sano, Managing Director, Nikkann Kogyo Shinbun, and coordinated by Yasukuni Enoki, former ambassador of Japan to India and President & CEO of Sun and Sands Advisors.
The objective was to have a first-hand experience about the facilities and infrastructure developments at Sri City in Chittoor district.
Sano said, “ Sri City management was making good efforts to create a world class business city by striking a perfect harmony between industrial growth, environment and social responsibility.”
Commenting on the visit, Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City, said, “ Sri City has been witnessing an increase in customer traction in the recent past, and the addition of Japanese companies adds a thrust thereby transforming the region into a vital and economically progressive zone.”
“With the recent array of ground-breaking ceremonies and factory inaugurations, Sri City is at the top-of-mind recall for investors across the globe,” Sannareddy added.
The Sri City has been able to create infrastructure, Ready Built Factories (RBF) with a quicker deliver time, minimal paper work, adequate power and water, road, rail and seaport connectivity, he said.
