The Supreme Court today gave a split verdict on plea seeking removal of special public prosecutor G Bhawani Singh in J Jayalalithaa’s disproportionate assets case before the Karnataka High Court.
Justice M.B Lokur allowed the plea for removal of Bhawani Singh but Justice R Banumathi said the special public prosecutor has the authority to continue in appeal in the High Court.
