Karnataka State Small Scale Industries Association (Kassia) said it is both frustrating and unacceptable for imposing power cut for industries in the State.

“At a time when the entire small industry sector is under pressure due to competitive factors and financial flow due to recession the news of scheduled power cut both in the morning and in the evening is least expected,” B.P. Shashidhar, Vice-President, Kassia, said.

The association is of the strong opinion that the scheduled power cut between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 6-9 p.m. is unacceptable.

Shashidhar further said the government’s move will severely impact the production and productivity of small industries in particular those industries away from Bangalore urban area.
