The Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) in Karnataka is taking steps towards saving fuel in the agriculture sector.
Alok Tripathi, Executive Director, Petroleum Conservation Research Association( PCRA), New Delhi flagged off the “Van Publicity Programme” in Bengaluru, which is aimed at the conservation of fuel.
DL Pramodh, Executive Director, Indian Oil, Karnataka State Office said that one van will cover 3,000 km over75 days. It will ply through Bengaluru, Mandya, Mysuru, Hassan, Tumkuru, Raichur, Vijayapura, Gadag, Hubballi and Dharwada. Each day, the van will cover only 40 km and will halt at about four places. At each spot, the public will be shown videos on fuel saving and energy efficiency. There would also be talks on the same topic.
