Karnataka State Small Scale Industries Assocation (Kassia) has said power cut for industries is “frustrating and unacceptable.”
In a release, B P Shashidhar, vice-president, Kassia, said that at a time when the entire small industry sector is under pressure due to recession, the news of power cut both in the morning and in the evening was least expected.
He said the government’s move to impose power cut between 6 and 9 am and 6 and 9 pm would badly hit small industries, particularly those located outside Bangalore urban area.
