The Telangana Government is planning to set up a Film City in an extent of 2,000 acres in the State. The State, home for the second biggest film industry in the South after Tamil Nadu, will soon organise a meeting with representatives from Bollywood and Telugu film industry soon.

“Besides supporting the film industry, the proposed Film City will also attend to the needs of TV content production, graphics and animation,” Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao told a delegation from the Film Federation of India here on Monday.

The delegation, led by its President Ravi K, Kalyan and Sashikumar, met the Chief Minister to discuss the issues that dogged the industry.
