The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is all set to form a minority government in Delhi with outside support from Congress, will announce its list of ministers on Wednesday, a senior AAP leader said.

Meanwhile, the party on Tuesday released a video address on a social networking site by party convenor and Chief Minister-designate, Arvind Kejriwal, in which he said his government would take action against any “corrupt” minister of previous regimes in Delhi.

In the two-minute video, Kejriwal also justified taking support from Congress and reiterated that the party was determined to follow its own agenda and fulfil the promises made to the people of Delhi.

Kejriwal said (after the poll results) they had got two kinds of views, one asking them to “keep away from both Congress and BJP” while the other said “form the government and prove that we can deliver.”

He clarified that no ministry would be given to any Congress candidate and they “will take action against any previous corrupt minister of Congress and BJP”.

According to reports, party leader Manish Sisodia, one of Kejriwal’s key lieutenants, said AAP would announce the names of ministers “before the swearing in ceremony takes place.” He said the date for oath-taking had not been finalised yet. On Monday, Kejriwal had said he and his ministers would take oath at the Ramlila Maidan.

On Tuesday, Kejriwal met the Delhi chief secretary to discuss government formation, party sources said. Kejriwal invited Delhi Chief Secretary D.M. Spolia to his Kaushambi residence. “Among other things, Kejriwal wanted to discuss with the chief secretary the financial health of the government,” a party source said.

Government sources said Spolia informed Kejriwal that the President’s clearance had been given for government formation.
