Days before the Election Commission’s expected announcement for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, Aam Admi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal is commencing his four-day visit to Gujarat on Wednesday to highlight “failures” of the Bharatiya Janata Party government led by Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

After his three-day road-show in Western Uttar Pradesh last week, this will be the former Delhi Chief Minister’s first major election tour to a state whose Chief Minister (Modi) is the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate.

Party sources said on Tuesday that the AAP leader will arrive at the airport from New Delhi on Wednesday morning and proceed to Bahucharaji in Mehsana district to meet farmers. He will also visit Sami and Radhanpur in North Gujarat to acquaint himself of civic problems, water crisis and absence of schools.

From Radhanpur, he will proceed to Kutch district where he will, on March 6, meet the people in connection with the availability of Narmada waters, and fishermen and pastoralists near Mundra Port.
