Chief Minister Ommen Chandy will lay the foundation stone for the new building of Kottayam Press Club on Sunday at a prime location adjacent to the KSRTC bus stand. The five-storey building, named Kottayam Media Centre, will be completed at a cost of Rs 4 crore.
Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, Finance Ministor K.M. Mani, Culture Minister K.C. Joseph, and other leaders will attend the stone-laying ceremony, said Joseph Sebastian, president, and Shalu Mathew, secretary of the Kottayam Press Club.
