Kerala State Electricity Board has formally opened its innovation zone in the Startup Village to improve the energy situation by exploring new ideas and developing cutting edge technologies.
Inaugurating the zone, the State Power Minister, Aryadan Mohammad, hoped that the new technology solutions to be developed at the Startup Village will benefit the KSEB to improve its efficiency in all areas of its operations.
KSEB Chairman M Sivasankar expressed happiness at the facilities provided to accommodate nearly 100 young entrepreneurs to incubate their ideas.
He signed one-year agreement with Startup Village Chairman Sanjay Vijayakumar.
The zone, coming up at a space of 2500 sq ft, will train people in the skills required to launch businesses in the energy sector.
