Lanco Hills, a mixed development project of Lanco Infratech Ltd , today announced the commencement of work on The Mega Mall at an outlay of Rs 500 crore.
Largest in South India
The company claimed it will be the largest in South India and is being presented as a destination mall.
The mall will bring a completely new experience for the people of twin cities.
Pochendar Shenigarapu, CEO of Lanco Hills said, “The Mega Mall is one of the main highlights of Lanco Hills. All the 12 towers are at various stages of construction and the mall will adorn more than 250 retailers and provide a different cinema experience.”
The mall will host shopping outlets and entertainment options under one roof and is expected to be completed in 30 months.
Spread over 3 million sq.ft., the mall will have 12 screen multiplex, hypermarkets and multi-level parking space for 5000 cars.
Lanco Hills is located on a 100-acre site and has residential, office and commercial space under development. The project was earlier delayed as Wakf Board had filed cases stating that it was Wakf property. However, Supreme Court had given it relief.
The company plans to invest up to $1 billion (about Rs 5,500 crore) in the project, including SEZ and hospitality projects. Some of the units were delayed due to slowdown.
